Marketing and PR Manager

Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of: a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the Organisation’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications; and, all Organisation marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations, client acquisition and so forth.
Managing and delegating Admissions and ensuring that they are running effectively and professionally, that deadlines are met; and that all points of contact for students are highly professional.
Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all Organisation publications, publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes;
Coordinate media interest in the Organisation and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests and act as the Organisation’s representative with the media;
Planning, developing and implementing Marketing & PR strategies; liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople; liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations, often via telephone and email; researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media; collating and analysing media coverage;
Organising events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours;
maintaining and updating information on the organisation's website; managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook;

Development and implementation of strategy and policy in the areas of quality assurance and quality enhancement of the College; ensuring student retention rates; for leading role in establishing and maintaining a reputation for excellence and innovation for the College;
Managing all the areas of operation of the College, promoting development activities in all departments and in building upon the College’s organisational strengths; developing and implementing the strategic growth plan to ensure effective and sustainable growth for the College. ;
Working for fulfillment of the College’s vision and purpose; and updating Chief Executive Officer for the progress in the achievement of the College’s strategic growth plan as well as with the issues that affect the implementation of these strategies;
Resource Management ; timely preparation of estimates of income and expenditure in each
financial year for consideration and approval of the Chief Executive Officer;
Monitoring college properties are looked after by minimizing the damage and keeping safe
Personnel
Implementation of appropriate procedures for recruitment, selection, appointment and discipline of all staff and supporting career development of all members of staff with appraisals and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer ;
External Links and Partnerships; leads the College in developing and sustaining mutually beneficial partnership relations with Universities and other professional/examining bodies with the
direct supervision and guidance of the Chief Executive Officer;
Promoting relationships between the College and agencies for the purpose of student recruitment;
Branch Manager
AEC Nepal
Supervising and coordinating the counseling the branch staff and overall branch operations and documentation staff to ensure that the counseling and documentation in the department is legitimate and in necessary order.
Making marketing plans in regard to USA, Australia, UK Education and IELTS/ TOFEL/ GMAT/GRE classes.
Providing in/out house counseling sessions, presentations and seminars at location required.
Ensuring that the operation of the department supports the organization mission and that it is implemented.
Involving with professional development of department members and help implement agreed performance management and involved in decision making about the staffing of the department.
Receiving reports from subordinates in a regular schedule and to present the same to the CEO.
